About You
Let's start with the basics.
Representation
How you answer this shapes the rest of the form. Take a moment to get it right.
We only work directly with VA-accredited attorneys, claims agents, and VSOs. They're the only ones legally allowed to charge for representing your claim, and they're who we trust to put our medical opinions in front of the VA the right way.
We understand some Veterans file on their own, and we respect that choice. But the process is complicated, and we want to make sure that when we write a letter, it's actually needed and built to do its job. An accredited representative helps us make sure of that.
Your Claim
Tell us about the conditions you want addressed in the nexus letter.
medlitix does not provide diagnoses. Our physicians review your file and medical records to determine whether the conditions you're claiming are at least as likely as not (50% or greater) or more likely than not (greater than 50%) connected to your service.
If you don't have a diagnosis yet, we can't make that evaluation — you'll need one first. A diagnosis does not have to have been made during your military service, but it does need to be documented by a qualified medical provider.
Your Records
Nexus letters require complete medical documentation. Let's figure out where things stand.
Your C-File (Claims File) is the complete VA record for your case — it includes your service records, medical evaluations, past rating decisions, and any supporting documents you've submitted. It's essential for writing a nexus letter because it tells us what the VA already knows about your service and health history.
